Not Selling Hype Is Hurting Me
Here is why I write "Into AI" and how you can support this newsletter.
Thanks to LLMs, it is easier than ever to create mediocre content to fill up the internet and fool people.
The more I look around, the more AI hype and surface-level content I find.
It’s frustrating.
As a reader, you now have to screen through thousands of posts and newsletters to find something valuable.
And as a writer, I have a tough time reaching out to you who really want to understand what AI is.
(The worst part is when many AI enthusiasts believe that reading “100+ prompts to ChatGPT” is them learning AI. 🥲)
Sure, it’s tough, and I have accepted that I will grow pretty slowly when I sell less hype and more technical content, but I’m fine with it.
I know that selling BS would have made me more money and become popular, but these are not my priorities, and I am sticking to them.
My goal is to create a community of curious individuals who are really looking to master the foundations of AI and stay updated with the latest technical research in this field.
These are the individuals who are or will be pioneers in AI, creating real value.
If you relate to this, please join me on this journey by becoming a paid subscriber and sharing the newsletter with anyone you know who would benefit from it.
I will continue to write this newsletter to cut through the AI noise on the internet.
Cheers!
